These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the consulting services provided by Ashly Y.D. Consulting. By accessing this website or engaging in services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Refunds & Cancellations
Strategy Sessions
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee, with the remaining balance refunded if applicable. No-shows are non-refundable.
Brand Performance Assessment, Website Design & Basic SEO, and Brand Materials & Documents
Because planning and project preparation often begin immediately, cancellations made within 24 hours of payment will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations after this period are non-refundable.
Courses
To protect the integrity of the course content and digital materials provided upon purchase, this training is non-refundable once access has been granted.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 1–2 business days.
Please allow 3–7 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
No-Show & Late Fee Application
No-show and late cancellation fees are collected to account for reserved appointment time and missed client opportunities. Because of this, these fees are non-transferable and cannot be applied toward future services. To avoid these fees, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduled appointments.
Agreement to Policy
By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Payment Plan
AYD Consulting offers flexible in-house payment plans for select services, including custom brand materials, comprehensive brand performance assessments, professional website design, and qualifying multi-project engagements.
Major credit cards and PayPal Credit may be used for eligible services. Payment providers maintain their own terms, conditions, fees, and financing requirements. Clients are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms associated with their selected payment method.
Payment plan eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and may require an initial deposit before work begins.
Payments are due according to the agreed-upon payment schedule. Payments not received within five (5) days of the due date may incur a $15 late fee. AYD Consulting reserves the right to pause, delay, suspend, or withhold services, project deliverables, account access, website updates, file transfers, and ownership transfer until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
Clients who repeatedly miss payments or fail to maintain their payment schedule may become ineligible for future payment plan arrangements.
All completed work, design files, documents, website assets, and related materials remain the property of AYD Consulting until the account balance has been paid in full.
Accounts that remain unpaid for more than 30 days may be referred for collections, legal action, or other remedies permitted under applicable law. The client is responsible for any reasonable costs incurred in the collection of unpaid balances, including attorney fees and court costs where permitted by law.
General Payments & Disputes
Payment is required prior to the start of any service unless otherwise agreed.
By purchasing services, clients agree to address and attempt to resolve any concerns directly with Ashly Y.D. prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
All designs and materials remain the intellectual property of Ashly Y.D. until full payment is received. Upon receipt of full payment, the client is granted a limited, non-transferable license for approved use.
Any chargebacks or payment reversals immediately revoke all usage and licensing rights. Continued use of materials after payment has been revoked may result in a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice.
Failed or incomplete payments will result in service cancellation. Any fraudulent payment activity may result in service termination and further action if necessary.
Work is considered to have begun once payment is received and project planning, communication, or initial work has started.
Services
Ashly Y.D. Consulting provides strategy, support, and design services for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. Services are consultative and advisory in nature.
Services may include guidance and/or deliverables related to:
- Business strategy
- Brand development and brand strategy
- Website and digital presence strategy
- Document and communication design strategy
- Social media setup and guidance
- Biography writing consultation
- Editing consultation
- Customer service training and communication strategy
Clients retain full responsibility for the implementation of recommendations and all final business decisions. While AYD Consulting strives to provide valuable guidance and strategic direction, outcomes and success ultimately depend on the client’s individual efforts, execution, and business practices.
Methods of Consultation
Services are delivered through one or more of the following formats:
- Text message
- Live video sessions via Google Meet
The format and structure of services depend on the service selected and the client’s needs.
Service Requests & Quotes
Prospective clients may view all offered services, details, and pricing information on the Services page. General inquiries can be submitted through the Contact Form.
Submitting a form does not guarantee acceptance of a project or consulting engagement. All requests are reviewed to determine compatibility, scope, and availability.
Ashly Y.D. reserves the right to decline service requests.
Private Client Services
Private client services are intended for individuals or organizations requiring elevated confidentiality, personalized support structures, representative coordination, or ongoing project management beyond standard service offerings.
Private client relationships are reviewed individually based on project scope, communication needs, confidentiality considerations, and service compatibility. Submission of onboarding materials or inquiries does not guarantee acceptance as a private client.
Representatives, assistants, or management teams may assist with communication and coordination when appropriate. However, direct client involvement may be required for onboarding, approvals, strategy discussions, or creative direction.
Additional onboarding, verification, confidentiality, or communication procedures may be required for certain private client arrangements.
International Clients
Pricing & Payments
All pricing, invoices, transactions, communications, and policies are provided in English and processed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Clients are responsible for any currency conversion fees, international transaction fees, customs charges, taxes, import fees, or financial institution fees required by their country, payment provider, or financial institution.
Scheduling & Availability
Because services are provided remotely from the United States, response times, scheduling availability, shipping timelines, and live session availability may vary depending on time zone differences, holidays, and regional availability.
Governing Law
By purchasing services or products, international clients acknowledge that AYD Consulting operates from the State of Texas within the United States and, where permitted, is governed by the applicable laws and regulations of Texas and the United States.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that participation in services, digital communications, payments, and purchased materials complies with their local laws and regulations.
Language & Translation
Ashly Y.D. is a native English speaker and is happy to accommodate non-native English speakers through the use of translation assistance tools when appropriate, including:
- Real-time AI translation support for live video sessions
- High-quality AI-assisted translation for emails, text messages, websites, and documents requiring multilingual communication
Projects requiring translation assistance or multilingual accommodations may require additional completion time. Clients will have the opportunity to request reasonable revisions if clarification is needed.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistance
AYD Consulting may utilize trusted artificial intelligence (AI) tools and software to assist with tasks such as translation support, minor formatting, and accessibility improvements.
Clients understand that information voluntarily submitted through forms, messages, files, or project materials may be temporarily processed through secure third-party AI systems when necessary to provide requested services or accommodations.
While reasonable efforts are made to protect client information and confidentiality, clients acknowledge that third-party platforms and AI systems may have their own privacy practices and data handling policies.
AYD Consulting does not knowingly sell client information or intentionally use client materials for public AI training purposes.

I will always remain the primary writer, designer, strategist, and creative lead for all projects, and take great pride in the quality and integrity of my work. AI tools will only be used for minor assistance, and are not a replacement for my professional skills, creative judgment, educational background, thought process, or original designs.
Accessibility & Usability
Accessibility Commitment for AYD Consulting
AYD Consulting aims to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which define internationally recognized standards for digital accessibility. Full compliance cannot always be guaranteed, as accessibility is an ongoing process. AYD Consulting is committed to improving the experience over time as technologies, standards, and user needs evolve.

Scheduling & Communication Expectations
Clients are expected to communicate professionally and respectfully at all times. Services may be declined or discontinued at any time if communication becomes inappropriate or disrespectful. Discontinued services due to inappropriate behavior are non-refundable.
Typical response times (outside of active engagements) are 1-2 business days, unless otherwise stated. Messages sent outside of active service periods or scheduled sessions will be addressed during the next available business window. Deliverables are typically completed within 2–7 business days, depending on project scope.
Consultation availability and communication hours may vary and are not guaranteed outside of scheduled services or engagements.
Scope, Revisions, & Deliverables
Consulting services are limited to the scope agreed upon with the client at the time of booking or project approval.
Some services may include the creation of design or communication materials (“deliverables”). These may include, but are not limited to:
- Business card design
- Website design guidance or layout design
- Document or communication design
- Digital branding materials
- Social media graphics or setup materials
- Written content or biographies
Deliverables are created based on the scope of work agreed upon with the client.
Revision allowances vary by project and will be defined based on the agreed scope. Additional revisions or major changes outside of the original scope may require additional fees.
Additional requests, expanded projects, or services outside of the original scope may require additional fees, a revised agreement, or a separate service booking.
Delivery, Turnaround, & Acceptance
Upon project completion clients will receive the agreed-upon final files or materials. File formats and delivery methods will be determined based on the project.
Editable source files may or may not be included, depending on the nature of the service and agreement with the client.
Turnaround times vary depending on project scope, client responsiveness, and current workload. Most services are completed within 2-10 business days.
Final projects are considered accepted upon final delivery unless concerns are raised within 24 hours. After this period, the project will be considered complete and no refunds will be issued.
Usage & Rights
Clients are granted the right to use final projects for their intended business or personal purposes once full payment has been received.
Ashly Y.D. retains the right to display non-confidential work in a professional portfolio unless otherwise agreed upon.
Clients may not resell, redistribute, or claim Ashly Y.D.’s designs as their own. All designs are created for the client’s intended use and may not be repurposed for resale or commercial redistribution.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, branding, graphics, materials, and original work created by Ashly Y.D., is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission. Unauthorized use of any content may result in legal action.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing any necessary information, images, or content required for deliverables and must ensure that all provided materials do not violate copyright or intellectual property laws.
Consulting services provide professional guidance, strategy, and recommendations. Results may vary depending on how advice is implemented.
Clients are responsible for:
- Business decisions
- Implementation of strategies
- Financial decisions
- Legal compliance within their business or organization
Ashly Y.D. is not liable for outcomes related to the implementation or non-implementation of consulting advice and does not guarantee specific business outcomes, results, or financial performance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashly Y.D.’s total liability for any claim arising out of services shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.
By engaging in services, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Professional Disclaimer
Consulting services provide strategic guidance and professional insight. Services provided by Ashly Y.D. do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or medical advice and should not be relied upon as such.
Clients should consult appropriate licensed professionals in these areas when necessary.
Professional Conduct & Safety
Ashly Y.D., BGS reserves the right to decline or discontinue services at any time due to:
- Harassment
- Abusive behavior
- Inappropriate conduct
- Inappropriate content
- Safety concerns
- Disruptive behavior
Services discontinued for these reasons are non-refundable.
